Mouse NID1 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Gln385-Ala665, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 33.25 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Nidogen-1 is a ~136 kDa protein. Sulfated glycoprotein widely distributed in basement membranes and tightly associated with laminin. For research use only.
Also binds to collagen IV and perlecan. It probably has a role in cell-extracellular matrix interactions.
