Mouse NOTUM Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Asp95-Asn503, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 48.64 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Palmitoleoyl-protein carboxylesterase NOTUM is a ~56 kDa protein. Carboxylesterase that acts as a key negative regulator of the Wnt signaling pathway by specifically mediating depalmitoleoylation of WNT proteins. For research use only.
Serine palmitoleoylation of WNT proteins is required for efficient binding to frizzled receptors.
