Mouse NRTN Recombinant Protein (N-His-SUMO) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Arg99-Val195, with an N-terminal His-SUMO tag. Predicted molecular weight: 23.64 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. May regulate the development and maintenance of the CNS. Involved in the development of the neural crest. Might control the size of non-neuronal cell population such as haemopoietic cells. Acts by binding to its coreceptor, GFRA2, leading to autophosphorylation and activation of the RET receptor.
