Mouse PRCP Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Mouse PRCP Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Lys45-Gln491, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 52.81 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Lysosomal Pro-X carboxypeptidase is a ~55 kDa protein. Cleaves C-terminal amino acids linked to proline in peptides such as angiotensin II, III and des-Arg9-bradykinin. For research use only.
This cleavage occurs at acidic pH, but enzymatic activity is retained with some substrates at neutral pH.
