Description
Mouse PRKG2 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Mouse PRKG2 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Ser445-Phe762, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 40.58 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. cGMP-dependent protein kinase 2 is a ~87 kDa protein. Crucial regulator of intestinal secretion and bone growth. For research use only.
Phosphorylates and activates CFTR on the plasma membrane. Plays a key role in intestinal secretion by regulating cGMP-dependent translocation of CFTR in jejunum. Acts downstream of NMDAR to activate the plasma membrane accumulation of GRIA1/GLUR1 in synapse and increase synaptic plasticity. Phosphorylates GRIA1/GLUR1 at Ser-863.
