Mouse QSOX1 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Asp51-Gly271, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 26.81 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Sulfhydryl oxidase 1 (QSOX1) is a ~82 kDa protein. Catalyzes the oxidation of sulfhydryl groups in peptide and protein thiols to disulfides with the reduction of oxygen to hydrogen peroxide. Plays a role in disulfide bond formation in a variety of extracellular proteins. In fibroblasts, required for normal incorporation of laminin into the extracellular matrix, and thereby for normal cell-cell adhesion and cell migration.
