Mouse SLC2A3 Recombinant Protein (N-GST & C-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Ala33-Ser64&Pro451-Ala493, with an N-terminal GST tag and a C-terminal His tag. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Solute carrier family 2, facilitated glucose transporter member 3 is a ~53 kDa protein. Facilitative glucose transporter. For research use only.
Can also mediate the uptake of various other monosaccharides across the cell membrane. Mediates the uptake of glucose, 2-deoxyglucose, galactose, mannose, xylose and fucose, and probably also dehydroascorbate. Does not mediate fructose transport. Required for mesendoderm differentiation.
