Mouse SNX9 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Phe250-Met595, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 42.41 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Sorting nexin-9 is a ~66 kDa protein. Involved in endocytosis and intracellular vesicle trafficking, both during interphase and at the end of mitosis. For research use only.
Required for efficient progress through mitosis and cytokinesis. Required for normal formation of the cleavage furrow at the end of mitosis. Plays a role in endocytosis via clathrin-coated pits, but also clathrin-independent, actin-dependent fluid-phase endocytosis. Plays a role in macropinocytosis.
