Mouse SULF1 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Mouse SULF1 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Arg42-Asp370, with an N-terminal His tag. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Extracellular sulfatase Sulf-1 is a ~100 kDa protein. Exhibits arylsulfatase activity and highly specific endoglucosamine-6-sulfatase activity. For research use only.
It can remove sulfate from the C-6 position of glucosamine within specific subregions of intact heparin. Diminishes HSPG (heparan sulfate proteoglycans) sulfation, inhibits signaling by heparin-dependent growth factors, diminishes proliferation, and facilitates apoptosis in response to exogenous stimulation.
