Description
Mouse TRADD Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Mouse TRADD Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Trp11-Gln142, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 17.09 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Tumor necrosis factor receptor type 1-associated DEATH domain protein is a ~34 kDa protein. Adapter molecule for TNFRSF1A/TNFR1 that specifically associates with the cytoplasmic domain of activated TNFRSF1A/TNFR1 mediating its interaction with FADD. For research use only.
Overexpression of TRADD leads to two major TNF-induced responses, apoptosis and activation of NF-kappa-B. The nuclear form acts as a tumor suppressor by preventing ubiquitination and degradation of isoform p19ARF/ARF of CDKN2A by TRIP12: acts by interacting with TRIP12, leading to disrupt interaction between TRIP12 and isoform p19ARF/ARF of CDKN2A.
