Mouse UPP1 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Asn26-Ala311, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 33.64 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Uridine phosphorylase 1 (UPP1) is a ~34 kDa protein. Catalyzes the reversible phosphorylytic cleavage of uridine to uracil and ribose-1-phosphate which can then be utilized as carbon and energy sources or in the rescue of pyrimidine bases for nucleotide synthesis.
