Description
Mouse WNT9B Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Mouse WNT9B Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Gly51-Lys268, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 26.49 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Protein Wnt-9b (WNT9B) is a ~38 kDa protein. Ligand for members of the frizzled family of seven transmembrane receptors (Probable). For research use only.
Functions in the canonical Wnt/beta-catenin signaling pathway. Required for normal embryonic kidney development, and for normal development of the urogenital tract, including uterus and part of the oviduct and the upper vagina in females, and epididymis and vas deferens in males. Activates a signaling cascade in the metanephric mesenchyme that induces tubulogenesis. Acts upstream of WNT4 in the signaling pathways that mediate development of kidney tubules and the Muellerian ducts.
