The Mouse SELP (P-Selectin) ELISA Kit - High Sensitivity is a state-of-the-art assay specifically designed to quantitatively measure P-Selectin levels in various biological samples collected from mouse models. P-Selectin, a member of the selectin family, serves as a crucial adhesion molecule involved in the inflammatory response and leukocyte recruitment to sites of inflammation and injury. With high sensitivity, this ELISA kit enables precise quantification of P-Selectin, offering valuable insights into its role in mediating inflammatory processes, endothelial dysfunction, and vascular homeostasis in murine models. Accurate measurement of P-Selectin levels is essential for elucidating its impact on the immune response and inflammatory cascades. Delivering reliable and reproducible results, the Mouse SELP ELISA Kit - High Sensitivity by Assay Genie is manufactured under strict quality control standards, ensuring robust performance and ease of use for researchers investigating the function and significance of P-Selectin in inflammatory conditions and related diseases.
This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to the target protein. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and bind to the immobilized antibody. A biotinylated detection antibody specific to the target protein is then added, followed by Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well, resulting in a color change. Only wells containing the target protein, detection antibody, and HRP conjugate will develop a blue color. The reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution, resulting in a yellow color. The optical density (OD) is measured at 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is directly proportional to the concentration of the target protein in the sample and is determined using a standard curve.
