RAB3D is a member of the Rab family of small GTPases involved in regulated exocytosis. It plays a role in vesicle trafficking from the trans-Golgi network and is essential for protein secretion in various cell types. Although best known for its function in osteoclast-mediated bone resorption, RAB3D is also expressed in the nervous system, where it may influence synaptic vesicle dynamics and neurotransmitter release. Given the importance of vesicle trafficking in neuronal communication, dysregulation of RAB3D could contribute to synaptic dysfunction in neurodegenerative diseases. Its role in exocytosis makes it a candidate for further investigation in disorders characterized by impaired synaptic transmission. This antibody is also available conjugated to ATTO 390, ATTO 488, ATTO 594, APC, Biotin, FITC, HRP, PerCP and RPE. Supplied in 100 µg.
