The Rat DKK1 (Dickkopf Related Protein 1) ELISA Kit is a specialized assay designed to quantitatively measure the levels of Dickkopf Related Protein 1 in rat biological samples. Dickkopf Related Protein 1 (DKK1) is known for its regulatory role in the Wnt signaling pathway, a critical signaling cascade involved in numerous cellular processes, including cell differentiation, development, and tissue homeostasis. DKK1 acts as an antagonist of Wnt signaling, modulating the canonical Wnt pathway and influencing various biological functions. Elevated or reduced levels of DKK1 can indicate disruptions in Wnt signaling and have been associated with various diseases and conditions, such as osteoporosis, cancer, and neurodegenerative disorders. Monitoring DKK1 levels through this ELISA kit provides valuable insights into the activity of the Wnt signaling pathway and the potential involvement of DKK1 in disease pathogenesis. The Rat DKK1 ELISA Kit offered by Assay Genie ensures precise and reliable measurement of DKK1 concentrations in biological samples. With exceptional sensitivity and specificity, this kit enables accurate quantification of DKK1, facilitating research into the roles of Wnt signaling and DKK1 in various physiological and pathological processes. Manufactured under strict quality control measures, this ELISA kit delivers robust performance and user-friendly protocols, making it an ideal choice for research studies focusing on Wnt signaling modulation and associated diseases.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to the target protein. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and bind to the immobilized antibody. A biotinylated detection antibody specific to the target protein is then added, followed by Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well, resulting in a color change. Only wells containing the target protein, detection antibody, and HRP conjugate will develop a blue color. The reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution, resulting in a yellow color. The optical density (OD) is measured at 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is directly proportional to the concentration of the target protein in the sample and is determined using a standard curve.
