The Recombinant AATF Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C371046) against AATF. AATF is an RNA polymerase II binding protein that participates in the transcriptional regulation of E2F target genes and cell proliferation, and protects cells from a variety of stress stimuli by inducing cell cycle arrest, autophagy or apoptosis inhibition. AATF can also be used as a general inhibitor of histone deacetylase HDAC1. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB and IF applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of 293T, HeLa, HepG2, 293T cell lysate, the AATF Rabbit mAb pre-adsorbed with 3µM of the synthetic peptides, 293T cell lysate, the AATF Rabbit mAb with no peptide blocking and IF analysis of HeLa, HEK-293. The target is localized to the nuclear, nucleolus.
