The Recombinant ALIX Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C121407) against ALIX. Programmed cell death 6-interacting protein (PDCD6IP), plays an important role in the endosomal sorting complexes required for transport (ESCRT) pathway in the abscission stage of cytokinesis and apoptosis. Studies using mouse cells have shown that overexpression of this protein can block apoptosis. In addition, the protein binds to the product of the PDCD6 gene, a protein required for apoptosis, in a calcium-dependent manner. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC and IP applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of HeLa, C6, Mouse brain, Rat brain, IHC analysis of Human breast cancer and IP analysis of HeLa cells extracts. The target is localized to the cytoskeleton, secreted, cytosol.
