Recombinant APG5L Monoclonal Antibody

The Recombinant APG5L Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C173245) against APG5L. ATG5, also named as APG5L and ASP, belongs to the ATG5 family. It is required for autophagy. It plays an important role in the apoptotic process, possibly within the modified cytoskeleton. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

This antibody is suitable for WB and IF applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of K562, C6, Hela and IF analysis of MCF-7. The target is localized to the Cytoplasm. Preautophagosomal structure membrane. Colocalizes with nonmuscle actin. The conjugate detaches from the membrane immediately before or after autophagosome formation is completed (By similarity). Localizes also to discrete punctae along the ciliary axoneme and to the base of the ciliary axoneme.
