Recombinant ATF1 Monoclonal Antibody

The Recombinant ATF1 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C111472) against ATF1. ATF-1 is a bZIP transcription factor that is a member of the cyclic AMP (cAMP)-response element-binding protein (CREB) family. Like other members of the CREB family, ATF-1 mediates signals from numerous physiological stimuli and activates target genes through cAMP-response elements, resulting in the regulation of a broad array of cellular responses. ATF-1 can be phosphorylated at Ser63 by protein kinase A (PKA), calmodulin-dependent protein kinase (CaMK), and cyclin-dependent kinase 3 (CDK3), which recruits CBP/p300 and enhances transcriptional activity. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC, IF and FCM applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of HeLa, HCT-116, K562, HepG2, IHC analysis of Human liver, Human spleen, Mouse liver, Rat liver, IF analysis of HeLa and FCM analysis of HeLa. The target is localized to the nucleus.
