The Recombinant Calbindin Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C111400) against Calbindin. Calbindin, encoded by CALB1 gene, is a member of the calcium-binding protein superfamily which is thought to buffer entry of calcium upon stimulation of glutamate receptors. Depletion of this protein was noted in patients with Huntington disease. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC-P, ICC/IF and FC applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of Mouse kidney. The target is localized to the nucleus, cytoplasm.
