Recombinant Caldesmon/CDM Monoclonal Antibody

The Recombinant Caldesmon/CDM Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C111075) against Caldesmon/CDM. Actin- and myosin-binding protein implicated in the regulation of actomyosin interactions in smooth muscle and nonmuscle cells (could act as a bridge between myosin and actin filaments). Stimulates actin binding of tropomyosin which increases the stabilization of actin filament structure. In muscle tissues, inhibits the actomyosin ATPase by binding to F-actin. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC and IF applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of C2C12, IHC analysis of Human colon, Mouse colon, Rat colon and IF analysis of HeLa. The target is localized to the cytoskeleton.
