The Recombinant Calponin 1 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C111078) against Calponin 1. Thin filament-associated protein that is implicated in the regulation and modulation of smooth muscle contraction. It is capable of binding to actin, calmodulin and tropomyosin. The interaction of calponin with actin inhibits the actomyosin Mg-ATPase activity. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC and IF applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of Mouse stomach, Mouse colon, Rat colon, IHC analysis of Human cervical cancer, Human prostate, Mouse colon, Rat stomach and IF analysis of C2C12. The target is localized to the cytoskeleton.
PBS, 50% glycerol, 0.05% Proclin 300, 0.05% protein protectant.
