Recombinant CD133 Monoclonal Antibody

The Recombinant CD133 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C310713) against CD133. This gene encodes a pentaspan transmembrane glycoprotein. The protein localizes to membrane protrusions and is often expressed on adult stem cells, where it is thought to function in maintaining stem cell properties by suppressing differentiation. Mutations in this gene have been shown to result in retinitis pigmentosa and Stargardt disease. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human samples.

This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC, IF and ELISA applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of Caco-2 and IHC analysis of Human bladder carcinoma tissue. The target is localized to the membranous.
