The Recombinant CD55/DAF Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C320016) against CD55. This gene encodes a glycoprotein involved in the regulation of the complement cascade. Binding of the encoded protein to complement proteins accelerates their decay, thereby disrupting the cascade and preventing damage to host cells. Antigens present on this protein constitute the Cromer blood group system (CROM). Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB and IHC-P applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of A549, HeLa, K562 and IHC analysis of Human placenta, Human lung. The target is localized to the cell membrane.
