The Recombinant CD79b Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C311110) against CD79b. Required in cooperation with CD79A for initiation of the signal transduction cascade activated by the B-cell antigen receptor complex (BCR) which leads to internalization of the complex, trafficking to late endosomes and antigen presentation. Enhances phosphorylation of CD79A, possibly by recruiting kinases which phosphorylate CD79A or by recruiting proteins which bind to CD79A and protect it from dephosphorylation. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC, IF and FCM applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of Raji, Ramos, Daudi, IHC analysis of Human spleen, Human tonsil, IF analysis of Daudi, Jurkat(Negative cell line) and FCM analysis of Ramos. The target is localized to the membrane.
