The Recombinant CD86/B7-2 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C370009) against CD86. This gene encodes a type I membrane protein that is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily. This protein is expressed by antigen-presenting cells, and it is the ligand for two proteins at the cell surface of T cells, CD28 antigen and cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated protein 4. Binding of this protein with CD28 antigen is a costimulatory signal for activation of the T-cell. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, ICC/IF, FC and IP applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of Ramos, Raji, Daudi. The target is localized to the cell membrane, secreted.
