The Recombinant CPS1 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C121527) against CPS1. Carbamoyl phosphate synthetase 1 (CPS1), a rate-limiting enzyme in the urea cycle, catalyzes the conversion of ammonia and bicarbonate to carbamoyl phosphate in mitochondria. Non-small cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC) cells with oncogenic KRAS and loss of the tumor suppressor LKB1 express CPS1 and depend on this enzyme for growth. CPS1 maintains pyrimidine/purine balance in these cancer cells. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB and IHC applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of HeLa, Human liver, Mouse liver, Rat liver and IHC analysis of Human hepatocellular carcinoma, Human liver, Mouse small intestine, Rat liver. The target is localized to the mitochondrion.
