The Recombinant CSF-1R Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C471404) against CSF-1R. The protein is the receptor for colony stimulating factor 1, a cytokine which controls the production, differentiation, and function of macrophages. This receptor mediates most if not all of the biological effects of this cytokine. Ligand binding activates the receptor kinase through a process of oligomerization and transphosphorylation. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB and IF applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of RAW264.7, Mouse placenta, Rat lung and IF analysis of RAW264.7. The target is localized to the membrane.
