Recombinant Dnmt3a Monoclonal Antibody

The Recombinant Dnmt3a Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C333289) against Dnmt3a. CpG methylation is an epigenetic modification that is important for embryonic development, imprinting, and X-chromosome inactivation. Studies in mice have demonstrated that DNA methylation is required for mammalian development. This gene encodes a DNA methyltransferase that is thought to function in de novo methylation, rather than maintenance methylation. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human samples.

This antibody is suitable for WB applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of Hela, A549. The target is localized to the Nucleus. Cytoplasm. Accumulates in the major satellite repeats at pericentric heterochromatin.
