The Recombinant DOPA Decarboxylase/DDC Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C111327) against DOPA Decarboxylase/DDC. L-DOPA decarboxylase (DDC) is a pyridoxal 5-phosphate (PLP)-dependent enzyme that catalyzes the decarboxylation of L-DOPA to dopamine and the decarboxylation of L-5HTP to serotonin. DDC is also regarded as a general biomarker for neuroendocrine tumors. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC and IF applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of HepG2, Mouse adrenal gland, IHC analysis of Human kidney and IF analysis of PC-12. The target is localized to the cytoplasm.
