Recombinant GRP78/BiP Monoclonal Antibody

The Recombinant GRP78/BiP Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C110595) against GRP78. The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the heat shock protein 70 (HSP70) family. It is localized in the lumen of the endoplasmic reticulum (ER), and is involved in the folding and assembly of proteins in the ER. As this protein interacts with many ER proteins, it may play a key role in monitoring protein transport through the cell. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC, IF and ELISA applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of C6. The target is localized to the cytoplasm.
