The Recombinant HE4/WFDC2/WAP5 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C650217) against WFDC2. This gene encodes a protein that is a member of the WFDC domain family. The WFDC domain, or WAP Signature motif, contains eight cysteines forming four disulfide bonds at the core of the protein, and functions as a protease inhibitor in many family members. This gene is expressed in pulmonary epithelial cells, and was also found to be expressed in some ovarian cancers. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for IHC-P applications. It has been validated by IHC analysis of paraffin-embedded rat lung.
