The Recombinant Heme Oxygenase 1 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C111416) against Heme Oxygenase 1. Heme oxygenase 1 cleaves the heme ring at the alpha methene bridge to form biliverdin. Biliverdin is subsequently converted to bilirubin by biliverdin reductase. Under physiological conditions, the activity of heme oxygenase is highest in the spleen, where senescent erythrocytes are sequestrated and destroyed. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC, IF, FCM and IP applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of HeLa, MCF-7, HepG2, NIH/3T3, BRL, Mouse kidney, IHC analysis of Human spleen, Mouse liver, Rat liver, IF analysis of HeLa, MCF7, FCM analysis of HeLa, MCF-7 and IP analysis of HeLa cells extracts. The target is localized to the endoplasmic reticulum.
