Recombinant Histone H4 Monoclonal Antibody
The Recombinant Histone H4 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C110733) against Histone H4. Histones are basic nuclear proteins that are responsible for the nucleosome structure of the chromosomal fiber in eukaryotes. Two molecules of each of the four core histones (H2A, H2B, H3, and H4) form an octamer, around which approximately 146 bp of DNA is wrapped in repeating units, called nucleosomes. The linker histone, H1, interacts with linker DNA between nucleosomes and functions in the compaction of chromatin into higher order structures. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC, IF, IP, ELISA, CHIP and Cut&Tag applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of Hela and IHC analysis of Human colon tissue, Mouse kidney tissue. The target is localized to the nucleus, chromosome.
