Human PEA15 Recombinant Protein

Astrocyticphosphoprotein PEA-15 (PEA15) is a death effector domain (DED)-containing protein. The protein is most abundant in the central nervous system, where it's mostly found in astrocytes. PEA15 levels are directly related to tumour cell growth and progression. The protein PEA15 is overexpressed in breast cancers, gliomas, and type 2 diabetes. PEA15 inhibits the Ras-mediated inhibition of integrin activation, and it modulates the ERK MAP kinase pathway. RPS6KA3's function is inhibited by PEA15 by keeping it in the cytoplasm. PEA15 inhibits both TNFRSF6 and TNFRSF1A-mediated CASP8 activity and apoptosis. PEA15 protein expression is now recognized as a prognostic indicator for ovarian cancer. Human PEA15 Recombinant Protein is a highly pure recombinant protein developed by Assay Genie for use in a range of applications.
