Human STAT1 Recombinant Protein

Signal Transducer and Activator of Transcription 1-Alpha/Beta (STAT1) contains one SH2 domain and belongs to the transcription factor STAT family. STAT1 can also form a homodimer termed IFN-gamma-activated factor (GAF) through tyrosine and serine phosphorylation; migrate into the nucleus and bind to the IFN gamma activated sequence (GAS) to drive the expression of the target genes; resulting in an antiviral cellular state. STAT1 is a transcription activator and signal transducer that regulates cellular responses to interferons. The cause of STAT1 deficiency total and familial candidiasis type 7 is a lack of the enzyme STAT1. Human STAT1 Recombinant Protein is a highly pure recombinant protein developed by Assay Genie for use in a range of applications.
