Recombinant Islet-1 Monoclonal Antibody

The Recombinant Islet-1 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C110916) against Islet-1. This gene encodes a member of the LIM/homeodomain family of transcription factors. The encoded protein binds to the enhancer region of the insulin gene, among others, and may play an important role in regulating insulin gene expression. The encoded protein is central to the development of pancreatic cell lineages and may also be required for motor neuron generation. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC, IF, IP and ELISA applications. It has been validated by IHC analysis of Human pancreas. The target is localized to the nucleus.
