Recombinant JAK1 Monoclonal Antibody

The Recombinant JAK1 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C110270) against JAK1. This gene encodes a membrane protein that is a member of a class of protein-tyrosine kinases (PTK) characterized by the presence of a second phosphotransferase-related domain immediately N-terminal to the PTK domain. The encoded kinase phosphorylates STAT proteins (signal transducers and activators of transcription) and plays a key role in interferon-alpha/beta and interferon-gamma signal transduction. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC, IF and ELISA applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of HeLa, K562. The target is localized to the Endomembrane system; Peripheral membrane protein. Wholly intracellular, possibly membrane associated.
