The Recombinant Lumican Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C131462) against Lumican. Lumican (LUM), a member of the small leucine-rich proteoglycan (SLRP) family, is one of the major extracellular components in interstitial collagenous matrices of the corneal stroma, aorta, skin, skeletal muscle, lung, kidney, bone, cartilage, and intervertebral discs. SLRPs constitute an important fraction of noncollagenous extracellular matrix proteins and have important effects on cell behavior. Lumican regulates collagenous matrix assembly as a keratan sulfate proteoglycan in the cornea and may exist as a glycoprotein in the connective tissues of other organs. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of Jurkat, HEK-293, Human placenta, Mouse skin, Rat skin. The target is localized to the extracellular matrix, secreted.
PBS, 50% glycerol, 0.05% Proclin 300, 0.05% protein protectant.
