The Recombinant MFF Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C131616) against MFF. Mitochondrial fission factor (MFF) is a tail-anchored protein that resides within the outer mitochondrial membrane and is part of the mitochondrial fission complex. MFF participates in mitochondrial fission by serving as one of multiple receptors for the GTPase dynamin related protein 1 (Drp1). Research studies have also shown that MFF is a peroxisomal membrane protein and participates in peroxisome fission by serving as a receptor for another GTPase, dynamin-like protein 1. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of Human heart,?Mouse heart, Rat heart, Mouse muscle, Rat muscle. The target is localized to the mitochondrion outer membrane, peroxisome.
