The Recombinant MUC1 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C121229) against MUC1. The alpha subunit has cell adhesive properties. Can act both as an adhesion and an anti-adhesion protein. May provide a protective layer on epithelial cells against bacterial and enzyme attack. The beta subunit contains a C-terminal domain which is involved in cell signaling, through phosphorylations and protein-protein interactions. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB and IHC applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of MCF-7, T47D, Rat liver, Mouse liver and IHC analysis of Human endometrium, Mouse lung, Rat kidney. The target is localized to the membrane, cytoplasm.
