Recombinant Nampt Monoclonal Antibody

The Recombinant Nampt Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C123301) against Nampt. Nicotinamide phosphoribosyltransferase(NAMPT) has two usual synonyms termed Visfatin and PBEF. Its primary role is to catalyze the condensation of nicotinamide with 5-phosphoribosyl-1-pyrophosphate to yield nicotinamide mononucleotide, an intermediate in the biosynthesis of NAD, which is the rate limiting component in the mammalian NAD biosynthesis pathway. NAMPT is localized in cytoplasm and expressed in large amounts in bone marrow, liver tissue, and muscle tissues. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

This antibody is suitable for WB and IHC-P applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of Hela, A549, HL-60, U20S, C6 and IHC analysis of Human lung cancer. The target is localized to the cytoplasm.
