The Recombinant PHF20 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C271251) against PHF20. Methyllysine-binding protein, component of the MOF histone acetyltransferase protein complex. Not required for maintaining the global histone H4 'Lys-16' acetylation (H4K16ac) levels or locus specific histone acetylation, but instead works downstream in transcriptional regulation of MOF target genes (By similarity). As part of the NSL complex it may be involved in acetylation of nucleosomal histone H4 on several lysine residues. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human and Mouse samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB and IF applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of F9, HCT-116, HT-29, TT and IF analysis of F9. The target is localized to the nucleus.
