The Recombinant Phospho-ErbB-3 (Tyr1289) Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C111017) against ErbB-3 (Tyr1289). This gene encodes a member of the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) family of receptor tyrosine kinases. This membrane-bound protein has a neuregulin binding domain but not an active kinase domain. It therefore can bind this ligand but not convey the signal into the cell through protein phosphorylation. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC, IF, IP and ELISA applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of T47D. The target is localized to the cell membrane, Single-pass type I membrane protein, secreted.
