The Recombinant PP1α/β Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C110289) against PP1α/β. The protein encoded by this gene is one of the three catalytic subunits of protein phosphatase 1 (PP1). PP1 is a serine/threonine specific protein phosphatase known to be involved in the regulation of a variety of cellular processes, such as cell division, glycogen metabolism, muscle contractility, protein synthesis, and HIV-1 viral transcription. Increased PP1 activity has been observed in the end stage of heart failure. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC, IF, IP and ELISA applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of HeLa, A549, 293T, Mouse brain, NIH/3T3, Rat brain, C6. The target is localized to the cytoplasm, nucleus.
