The Recombinant PRAME Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C331423) against PRAME. This gene encodes an antigen that is preferentially expressed in human melanomas and that is recognized by cytolytic T lymphocytes. It is not expressed in normal tissues, except testis. The encoded protein acts as a repressor of retinoic acid receptor, and likely confers a growth advantage to cancer cells via this function. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of Ramos, K562, HeLa, A375. The target is localized to the membrane, cytoplasm, Golgi apparatus, nucleus.
