The Recombinant PTBP2 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C121262) against PTBP2. RNA-binding protein which binds to intronic polypyrimidine tracts and mediates negative regulation of exons splicing. May antagonize in a tissue-specific manner the ability of NOVA1 to activate exon selection. In addition to its function in pre-mRNA splicing, plays also a role in the regulation of translation. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB and IHC applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of Mouse testis, Rat testis and IHC analysis of Human testis, Mouse brain, Rat brain. The target is localized to the nucleus.
