Recombinant PTEN Monoclonal Antibody

The Recombinant PTEN Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C110650) against PTEN. This gene was identified as a tumor suppressor that is mutated in a large number of cancers at high frequency. The protein encoded by this gene is a phosphatidylinositol-3, 4, 5-trisphosphate 3-phosphatase. It contains a tensin like domain as well as a catalytic domain similar to that of the dual specificity protein tyrosine phosphatases. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC, IF and ELISA applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of MCF7 and IHC analysis of Rat panreas tissue, Human panreas tissue. The target is localized to the cytoplasm, nuclear.
