The Recombinant QKI Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C171485) against QKI. QKI is a member of the signal transduction and activator of RNA (STAR) protein family of RNA-binding proteins. Mutations in the mouse Qki locus results in impaired myelin formation resulting in tremors. QKI proteins exist as homodimers, and disruption of the dimerization process is lethal in mice. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB and IF applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of HeLa, Neuro-2a, K562, PC-12 and IF analysis of Neuro-2a. The target is localized to the nucleus.
