Recombinant Smad5 Monoclonal Antibody

The Recombinant Smad5 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C110329) against Smad5. The protein encoded by this gene is involved in the transforming growth factor beta signaling pathway that results in an inhibition of the proliferation of hematopoietic progenitor cells. The encoded protein is activated by bone morphogenetic proteins type 1 receptor kinase, and may be involved in cancer. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC, IF and ELISA applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of C2C12. The target is localized to the cytoplasm, nucleus.
